Five-Axis CNC Medium-Speed Wire-Cut EDM Machine

This series of products utilizes the principle of Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) to process conductive materials through electrical erosion. During machining, a metal wire (molybdenum wire) is typically used as the tool electrode to generate spark discharges against the workpiece. The electrode wire reciprocates at a constant speed, continuously entering and leaving the discharge zone. At the same time, a liquid dielectric medium is injected between the electrode wire and the workpiece. Under computer control, the workpiece moves along a programmed path to achieve the desired shape.

One of the key advantages of this product is that there are virtually no restrictions on the properties of the material being processed. In principle, any conductive material can be machined. This product demonstrates significant advantages when processing materials that are difficult to machine using conventional mechanical cutting methods. It is suitable for ultra-hard materials such as hardened steel and cemented carbide; tough materials such as various stainless steels and heat-resistant alloy steels; brittle materials such as magnetic steel; thin-walled parts that are difficult to clamp; and components with complex shapes. As long as the appropriate program is prepared, the desired workpiece can be machined efficiently and accurately.
